Flagtail Prochilodus (Semaprochilodus insignis) is a large fish that can reach sizes of up to 14+″ in length. But it is important to note that they are known jumpers and NEED a nice fitting lid/top on your aquarium.
While Flagtail prochilodus are generally omnivorous they are primarily a herbivore and love algae wafers and vegetable matter such as blanched spinach, lettuce and cucumber. They aren’t a picky eater and will also generally accept frozen and dried food and pellets as well.
