Description
A stunning albino variation of one of the most popular corydora in the aquarium hobby – Sterba’s Cory or The Sterbai Cory.
This is due to its brightly colored side fins and their black body adorned with a beautiful white spotted pattern which maintain on the albino variation as well.
Sterbai Corys have a venom gland on their barbs as a defense mechanism against predators. It is mostly harmless to humans but has been known to irritate the skin.
Care should be taken when handling them, and I say this from experience, a sting can throb for hours causing more than mild discomfort.
