Description
Tiger barbs can grow just under 4inches in length and can get as wide as 1.5″. They can live up to 6 years in captivity.
They are a shoaling fish and should definitely be kept in groups of 6 or more. They are also a semi-aggressive fish when kept in small number who are known fin nippers.
For this reason, tank mates should be chosen wisely depending on tank size and shoal size.
